as is.

The "as is" section is one of my faves in stores. You can get some great things to fix up and use different working parts. I have found old clocks with broken faces and re-used the hands. Broken chairs that need re-upholstering, kitchen cabinets. I found this kitchen cabinet in Ikea's "As Is" section and fixed it up for some nice wall art.

oh, clock. rock.

I love stopping by the side of the road picking up old items.

This coffee table I rescued from down the street when I lived in the Cherry Grove. After carrying it partially down the road with Al following me in her Mustang, it got too heavy. We opened the passenger door and stuck it half way in and moseyed halfway down the street again.

The table in its current state after refinishing it.

Another item I love to pick up is hubcaps. They sit there all set up, waiting to be claimed. And I claim them and turn them into clocks.

time will bloom.

Recent paintings of flowers. I love painting flowers because they are so unique and colorful each one.
Lilies and orchids. very fragrant flowers. The more fragrant a flower is, the shorter its vase life is.

Pink day lilies for a friend.

the Holiday.

The Holiday in the Floral world is Valentine's Day. Prices go up. Product numbers increase. Foot traffic increases. Work hours increase. Its been a crazy past few days jumping back into work and creating again.

Creative juices are set aside for me as we work mainly Specials and standard products but they are still fun to make!

back.

I am back from a mission to Korea to outreach and teach English! what a great experience.
